Mission Trips
El Salvador
 In mid-May a team took a trip to dig a well to provide clean drinking water for a local community. This trip is coordinated through Living Water International and First Baptist Church.

Southeast Asia
June 4-13 a team from First Baptist will be working with Extreme Missionary Adventures in the a "closed" country. The team will be targeting an area of the world that does not have much access to the gospel. The two main objectives while there will be to distribute literature as well as prayer walk. Opportunities will also be available to interact with students trying to learn English. |
Nicaragua
 July 10-17 a team of fifteen will travel to Matagalpa, Nicaragua to continue the work that was started in November last year. The team will complete the church building that was begun at Quebra Honda. This building is being built for a congregation that has met in a garage for nine years. The team will also conduct sports clinics, provide free medical care , show the Jesus film, door-to-door evangelism, work with three different schools to share the gospel, and work with an existing feeding ministry providing food for poor and homeless.
Please pray for this team as they travel and share the gospel in the city of Matagalpa (pop. 450,000).

New Mexico
 July 19-23 Middle School & High School Students will travel to Berino, New Mexico to assist in community service projects as well as ELEVATE Student Worship & Arts leading worship in various settings.
This trip is $150 and is limited to 50 adults and students.
