While we trust the truths of Scripture that nothing on Earth has really changed in the history of mankind (Ecc. 1:9) and there are no new temptations facing today’s generations (1 Cor. 10:13), we acknowledge that parenting in the 21st century comes with unique challenges. Even as these biblical truths remain, there is certainly a difference in the dynamics, pervasiveness, and ramifications of the issues facing today’s teens (and preteens), especially in the context of a digital culture. We, as your church staff, want to equip families to help them better understand and navigate difficult situations.
